Goals & Dreams Financial Planning Team

Kath Orman

Senior Financial Planner

Dip FP CFP

Having been in the financial planning industry since 1987, in 2001 I founded Goals & Dreams Financial Planning.  I became a member firm of Genesys Wealth Advisers in 2005 and transitioned to Charter Financial Planning in 2015.

I have a Dip FP and CFP qualification, but the best learning has been working with real life situations over many years. We have a huge postcard board in our foyer where we proudly display postcards sent by our clients from all over the world.

I am passionate about helping people (especially women) take ownership of their decisions and help them feel empowered by educating them and facing the “fear” that is often associated with money (or lack thereof).

I belong to many Women’s networking groups and have recently joined the Institute of Women International, where I have undertaken advanced studies and I am now qualified to assist women to live their lives without limitation.

I am also currently in the process of writing a book “Attitude Abundance & Action” where I expand on the knowledge I have gleaned over many years.

Allyce George

Associate Financial Planner

Allyce began her career in the wealth management industry 15 years ago. She has worked as a qualified International Trust & Estate Practitioner in the Channel Islands, the Cayman Islands and, most recently, Barbados.

Allyce has completed her Diploma of Financial Planning and is an Authorised Representative of Charter Financial Planning.

Damaris Okumu

Paraplanner & Compliance Officer

With a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and studying towards attaining The CPA accreditation, Damaris joined Goals & Dreams as an intern seeking to learn and understand the financial planning process and its fundamentals.

Damaris brings value to our team from her overseas experience in accounting and customer service having worked in the hospitality industry and with the national union of teachers in Kenya.

Working at Goals & Dreams is a dream in itself as it’s in line with her conviction of making a difference through helping others achieve their goals, enjoy the journey and better their lives.

In her spare time when not at Goals & Dreams, Damaris works with autistic young people and adults living with quadriplegia in independent group homes.
